The Construction Insurance Risk Engineers Group
The Construction Insurance Risk Engineers Group (CIREG) comprises Risk
Management Professionals working in the United Kingdom within the Insurance Industry who
specialise in Risk Management of Building and Civil Engineering
Construction.
CIREG is a semi-formal Group and our members are
employed by Insurance Companies, Insurance Brokers and Risk Management
Consultants who work predominantly within the Construction Insurance
market.
CIREG members give professional risk management advice to Insurers,
Clients and Contractors. We also liaise with Professional and Statutory
Organisations to develop effective Controls, Guidelines and Codes of
Practice for risk management of construction works.
CIREG and its Members have acted in the past on behalf of the UK CAR
Underwriters Group (Association of British Insurers) and the British
Tunnelling Society (Institution of Civil Engineers) in the development
of Risk Management Guidance and Codes of Practice for construction
works, including the following:
